Movie Mad Review:
Whether you enjoy this film or not will largely depend on whether you can tolerate Trumans (Philip Seymour Hoffman) voice. You'll either love it, or hate it.

Hoffmans portrayal of Capote is staggeringly magnificent, and rightly won him the Best Actor Oscar at the 2006 Academy Awards. He doesn't so much 'merely portay' Capote, as he BECOMES him.

The film is bout Trumans research for his Best Selling book "In Cold Blood", an account of the chilling murder of an entire Kansas family in 1959.

It looks at the crime itself, and also at the close relationship forged between Perry Smith, one of the killers, and Truman Capote.

This film is beautifully directed, with exceptional performances by the cast, most notably that of P.S. Hoffman.
